Google geochart and admin1 codes?

Hi;

I'm trying to use the admin1 codes listed in the data files with Google's Geochart system but the admin1 codes seem to work with some and not other countries; are the admin1 codes accurate? is anyone successfully using these admin1 codes with Google's Geochart API?

Thanks

Answer my own question; Google's GeoChart API uses standard ISO 3166-2 province codes which don't appear to be provided in the geonames dumps.
