GeoNames Link and Map questions

Good day all,

I am very new to GeoNames and hopefully this is not a duplicate posting. Our interest is only the Zakarpattia oblast (county) of Ukraine, so I expect a very low volume of "clicks" to bring up a map.

Here are my questions:

1. I am testing using the following options (links) on my test page, they work perfectly. Is this permitted under your free use provisions or do we need to maintain the data on our server?

GeoNames Option: www.geonames.org/ mapsgoogle_48.439187_22.717792.html" target="_blank">Munkacevo

Google Earth Option: www.geonames.org/kml/48.439187_22.717792_12.kml" target="_blank">Mukachevo

2. When testing the GeoNames Option (link), the map appears with two blocks on the left, a small map with icons and a features list.

a. Is there a way to omit the small map block and icons?

b. Is there a way to only have "Cities, villages..." checked in the default view?

b. Is there a way to make a "map" appear as the default view, rather than a satellite view?

3. Lastly, we note that there are two map versions, GeoName and Wikipedia. Are there other map versions available?

Thank you very much in advance for taking of your valuable time to answer our questions.

Respectfully,
GeoLady
