Hi,

Are there any hope to make findNearByWeatherJSON to return the data also in XML format?

Wow, that was fast :)

Is there some distance limitation of finding a weather station?

If I try
http://ws.geonames.org/findNearByWeatherXML?lat=60&lng=25
I will get data from a weather station but if I go a little further away:
http://ws.geonames.org/findNearByWeatherXML?lat=60&lng=25.8
I get message "no observations found"

http://ws.geonames.org/findNearByWeatherXML?lat=60.25&lng=25.8 : distance 41 km, no data

Hi Timo

There was something weird with the database access. I am now using an other geospatial function and your station is found.

Cheers
