I have three questions about coutryInfo webservice.

 - Is it possible to have it in JSON format?
 - Do the information for this webservice are in the database we can download?
 - Why the country info or not in the result of this kind of query : http://ws.geonames.org/search?name=france&fclass=A&fclass=T&fcode=PCLI&fcode=ISL&type=json&lang=fr

There are two slightly different countryInfo services. Which one would you like to have in JSON format? At the moment none of them is available in JSON.

Yes, it is available. You can store the countryInfo output of the service for the language independent data and use the country names in all languages from the daily dump.

Most data fields in the countryInfo apply to countries only and the search service returns all kind of toponyms.

Has the JSON format of the countryInfo been created. I tried accessing it from the overview page, but it looks like it is not available. 

I would like to use this service to get information for countries -> regions -> cities -> post codes.
