US GeoNameIds with wrong location type

Hi Marc,

As you know we at ISIC (www.isic.org) have been actively using geonames data. While trying to get data from your system we found around 600+ location having a wrong type. Most of them should be cities or town but they are defined as regions. Would it be a problem for you to change that data? Until it's fixed we cannot really link either of our content to the wrongly defined ID's.

Here is this data: http://pastebin.com/cEvTMvpT

I am looking forward to hear from you.

Thank you very much in advance,
Michael

Hi Michael

I don't understand what you expect. I looked at the first two of them and they are both valid and correct US counties. What else should they be than ADM2?

Best Regards
