Jordan

Hello,

All adm1 divisions are present and correct for Jordan. However, numerous places have a wrong hierarchy, which seems to be the one in place before 1996.

1996-01-01: Ajlun and Jarash provinces split from Irbid, Aqaba split from Ma`an, Madaba split from Amman. A strip of land in the northeastern part of Amman was transferred to Zarqa. (Source: Statoid)

Indeed, most places in Madaba still appear under Amman, and even if you create a point in the Madaba area, it will automatically be attributed to the Amman division. (Same for the other "new" divisions").

I'm just reporting this, since I have no idea of how to deal with this problem...

We would need newer polygons with the new province boundaries to be able to automatically assign the correct province. It seems the boundary polygons we are using are outdated.
We could also completely disable some of them, then it would no longer assign anything.
