Is there some relation between city places and city itself?

Hi all,

I am just making a little research, I know how to make hierarchy search Country-->State-->county-->city.

What i want to know is there some some relation in the geonames to extract city places: for example:

City-->city places

New York --> [Historic Museum, Liberty Park, etc]

Thanks in advance

David
