Using Database Dump

Greetings!

I'm interested in using the database dump for the US cities on a website in order to A) reduce the load placed on the GeoNames server, and B) to decrease the query response time on my website.

I have no problem getting the db inserted into my MySql db, and I also have no issue writing my own PHP search class. I'm only curious if there is already a search class available to be downloaded to save time.

If one exists, and is freely available, I'd appreciate any input!

Thanks for the help,
Peter
