				<description><![CDATA[ What do I do to get special characters in a text file dump.
If these are url encoded - can someone point me to a decoder ?
This is an example of a "place" in the text file.

The geonames dump files are UTF8 encoded. On linux you can use iconv to convert it to your favorite encoding, on windows you can use notepad, wordpad or an other text editor.
