BoundingBox Requests beyond lng 180/-180

Hi,

found somehow different results of those requests:
http://ws.geonames.org/weatherJSON?north=4&south=-51&east=193&west=111
http://ws.geonames.org/wikipediaBoundingBoxJSON?north=4&south=-51&east=193&west=111

While wikipedia get you results around Australia, weather gives you results within South America.
Must be a problem if you go beyond lng 180/-180 within one lng.

Marc,
thanks a lot, in the meanwhile I have implemented what I wanted to.

If you like, please have a look:
http://www.uismedia.de/mappetizer/traveldiary/TravelDiary_Ruth/index.html

Switch on the Wikipedia and Weather button in the toolbar.

Your guys make a really good job, but nevertheless I have a wish list: local sunset and dawn (maybe within timezone?). Okay people are never satisfied with your services... ;-)

Ok, there are two new elements/attributes sunset and sunrise in the timezone response.

Best

Marc,

wow! Thanks for time, sunrise and sunset! Now I have a good approach to switch between day and night. Will let you know when I have implemented it in my Travel Diary.

BoundingBox Requests beyond lng 180/-180

Hi Marc,
have a bit problems to understand sunset, sunrise.

Seems to be right within Europe, but Australia (http://ws.geonames.org/timezone?lat=-27&lng=129) gives me
sunrise 12.13 and sunset 22.39.
Even considering UTC (do I have so?) doesn't make it better. What do I miss?

Thanks

Ruth, you are right. There was confusion with timezones and the conversion was done twice.

Marc,
that's a relief :-)
So now the changes of the weather icons day/night symbols corresponds to sunset/sunrise (at observation time):

http://www.uismedia.de/mappetizer/traveldiary/TravelDiary_Ruth/index.html
-> Click on the sun in the toolbar

Thanks a lot for your work!
