ADMIN1 Listing Is not correct for CI

Hello,

The following ADM1 codes are listed for CI (Ivory Coast), but they are really ADM1 codes (duplicated) for CL (Chile):

CI.01	Valparaíso Region
CI.03	Antofagasta Region
CI.04	Araucanía Region
CI.05	Atacama Region
CI.06	Biobío Region
CI.07	Coquimbo Region
CI.11	Maule Region
CI.12	Santiago Metropolitan Region

Can you re-check the import file for ADM1 codes?

Thanks for the great service!

Thanks. They come from a a file with obsolete admin codes that is added to the file admin1Codes.txt . I have deleted the codes in the file and they will no longer be included with the next dump.

Best

Thanks Marc!

Also, there are CI geonames coded with ADM1 05, 06, 07, 11, 12:

CC1 ADM1 COUNT
CI	05	158
CI	06	72
CI	07	137
CI	11	3
CI	12	370

Will there be replacement ADM1 records in the new ADM1 file?

Thanks,
Brett

Re:ADMIN1 Listing Is not correct for CI

No, because I don't know what they originally stood for. There have been several reorganisations in the country and I assume these codes refer to admin divisions that existed many many years ago.

It would be better to assign these toponyms with the current admin code.
