Hierarchical Extraction

Hi all,

I tryed since a couple of days to extract datas from geonames according to the Hhierarchical order directly with a transac SQL procedure.

But seems there is plenty of wrong datas when it come to hierarchy (using ADM1, ADM2, etc...).

I manage to set have a procedure working well for France and Mexico. But when I launch it on the whole database (importing the allCountries.txt), such a mess.

here I attached the procedures I implemented in case it's usefull for some one :

city_type_id , state_type_id : the id of the city type and state/departement/county/region type of my system

Any feed back/correction is pretty much welcome !
