Is there a table of names for the country State/Province categories?

Maybe I should open my eyes. The Admin1Codes.txt does have exactly what I am looking for. Has anyone seen some odd characters in this file? I can open the file with utf-8 text encoding and still find a few characters that are not recognized.

You have probably not installed all the fonts for asian languages and your computer cannot display the characters. Marc

Thanks, that makes sense. Is there a list of the fonts that should be installed to see the complete text?

Hi Bruce I don't have a list. On Windows there is a package for East Asian languages that is already on the computer and only needs to be unpacked. Use a search engine to find out where exactly to click on your operating system. Marc
