Multiple alternative name for same language

Hi...
Please take a look at this GeonameId: 294801
(http://api.geonames.org/get?geonameId=294801)

The hebrew name of this city is defined twice.
<alternateName lang="he">H̱efa</alternateName>
<alternateName lang="he">חיפה</alternateName>

I didn't succeed to remove the first one. How can I do it? Is it normal to have two names for the same language? What about the DisplayName? Sometimes it is the first one and sometimes the second..
Sorry if my questions are stupid. I'm new here :\

Thanks!
