Hi i'm new here, could somebody tell me if it is possible to use Java Client for GeoNames Webservices not only search for the names of places, but to also display them on a map? If so how? similar to what you see in google map. as i can't seem to find any info about maping this to maps on the GeoNames website.

Hi

GeoNames is primarily a data project. It is possible to use the data go generate maps, or display the places on a map, but we don't offer any software to do this.

What kind of tools what i need? Would it be from Geotools?
