Retrieving the 1st level divisions of Canada:

Yukon abbreviation is "YU" - it should be "YT" See:

Do you have a credible source for this abbreviation?
I live in the Yukon. In Canada, the correct abbreviation is "YT", or in informal writings "Y.T." standing for "Yukon Territory". In the Geonames database, all other provinces and territories of Canada have the correct abbreviation which is the ISO 2 letter code, and which is also the official Canadian Postal abbreviation.
Please try http://www.google.com/search?q=yukon+abbreviation
I hope this will persuade you to make a correction. I do not have permission.

I added this abbreviation a few years ago. I probably got the abbreviation from Wikipedia. Maybe Wikipedia was wrong, or maybe I typed wrong. Sorry about that, and thanks for the correction! I have changed it to YT now.
