i use the api below to make a reverse geocoding and works fine for me.
I call http://ws.geonames.org/findNearby?lat=-25.464974&lng=-49.543533 and get results ok.
But sometimes i need to make a lot of calls, and it is very slow.
So i got the database of my country "BR.zip", but dont know how to use on my server.

What i need to download to have the "findNearby" command on my server??
What are the server requeriments??
I readed all things on all pages, but did not understand nothing
Thanks a lot for all help and sorry my bad english.

There is nothing you can download for installation on your own server. Not yet.
I am afraid you will have to code it yourself. But you can use the data from geonames.
