A city autocompletion demo using jQuery UI autocomplete widget and GeoNames searchJSON web service.

This would be wicked awesome.....if the service was up. What's the deal on the service being down? does anyone know? I know there's a hard disk problem, and I sympathize with the operators of the service, but it sure is taking a long time to get it back online. What's the story?

Is it possible to search the complete Address by geonames JSON? All examples I found just searched for the City, not for the Street.
