Hi!

The current GeoNames name for the most important airport in Paris, Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, is "Paris - Charles-de-Gaulle". I guess this needs to be fixed as the actual names are "Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport" in English and "Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle" in French.

I have two questions about this:

Which one should be the main name of it? The one in English or the one in French? Based on the manuals I have read, I guess it should be the one in English, right?

For some reason, the name update requires admin access >=2. How can I get this access level so that I can fix this and similar issues?

We are close to release http://letmego.com, which heavily depends on GeoNames, and we are going to invest hundreds of hours improving the quality of GeoNames

Yes, the main name should be an international name.

I have increased your userlevel and the one of German to 2. The userlevel helps protect toponyms against mistakes and vandalism.

Last year I have updated french airports names according to "Journal Officiel".

Please do not change main name.
"Paris - Charles-de-Gaulle" is a valid name in most languages.

Opus27: The name should include, at least, the word "Airport", no? In other words, GeoNames should be updated to be "Paris - Charles-de-Gaulle Airport" instead of just "Paris - Charles-de-Gaulle". What do you think guys?
