Looking through the admin1CodesASCII.txt there is no entry for Puerto Rico

however... on thread:

I see there is a file that contains Puerto Rico... although I do not know which file is shown there.

My question is... where is the download file for that's listed on the above thread in the download section.... or, why is Puerto Rico simply not in the admin1CodesASCII.txt file???

I feel like I'm missing something obvious.... can you help me?

Further note...

it appears that Puerto Rico is listed as it's own country in CountryInfo.txt ... as "PR"

confused by this... for most "users" we are coding our applications for... i think that they are used to seeing Puerto Rico listed under the US. (along with guam and etc)

Any thoughts?

If you don't like the PR country code for Puerto Rico then simply replace it with US in your application.
We have not yet had the resources the fix the administrative divisions for Puerto Rico. They all are ADMD at the moment:

There is a lot admin information missing for Puerto Rico. I would like to help updating in any way I can, especially the admin2 (city/municipality) info.

Is there a way to batch edit or submit this information?

Many admin divisions are most likely already there:

They are just missing the correct feature code. Someone will have to go through them and decide what they are, add the missing ones and delete the ones that are wrong. The number is not so high, I am not sure whether a batch update would not make more work.
