In the cities1000.zip file, I've noticed six cities with bad ASCII names:
ID City Name
1141269 Gazni
2989736 Oeting
2993207 Mons-en-Baroeul
2995586 Maroeuil
2995908 Marcq-en-Bar
787301 Ode
