Can i match two places using your ltitude and longitude?  XML

Your Latitude and Longitude which is in file "allCountries.txt".I want to know that can i compare two features mean two places using latitude and longitude?What they exactly provide us a point,circle,square ?I want to match two places p1,p2 and want to know that p1 is inside or outside of the p2()using latitude and longitude?

Thanks so much.I want to also know what latitude and longitude exactly provide us?

Latitude and Longitude describe a point. The only operator available is 'distance', 'inside' or 'outside' are not available for points.
