GeoNames Forum

I loaded the data found in "/export/zip/allCountries.zip" but noticed that it has apparently duplicate records. For example if you look at the records with the following criteria you can see both records are the same in every way except for the latitude and longitude coordinates are different:
country_code="CH", postal_code="4052", place_name="Basel", admin_name1="Kanton Basel-Stadt", admin_code1="BS", admin_name2="Basel-Stadt", admin_code2="1200", admin_name3="Basel", admin_code3="2701", and accuracy="6"

Is there a way to determine which is the better data? Do you have any plans to add some distinguishing attributes to this data (if nothing else, an entry date maybe)?
