How do you get better divisions? the Administrative Divisions aren't that helpful most of the times,Very often they aren't used at all, or you use another division close by instead. Or even worse the Administrative Division might be different from the postcode division.
Do I make any sense? e.g. Stockholm is a medium sized city (1 million) it has Administrative Divisions called stadsdelar but these aren't really important when I send myself a letter or when someone is trying to navigate to my house.. But they are important when I want to know who I should call about that dumpster that is never emptied, though I've passed 65th birthday I haven't quite reach the stage where I complain about these things.
So is there such a thing as sociological divisions?
I'm pretty sure there aren't any for Sweden. But that data for the US is exactly what I mean. I did read that before posting so I must have forgotten about it when I posted this..
There is another problem I just have to share. Divisions have different scope, So even if I live in "Sweden -> Stockholm larger -> Stockholm metro-> South" most people still associate the place I live in more with Stockholm metro than South. And almost the same when you have people that live in "Sweden -> Stockholm larger -> Nacka", they mostly say they live in Stockholm..
This is a quite common problem for me when searching for streets in Sweden, I write Stochkolm but should write South or Nacka, hence returning no match.
