Hi Bakito

WSDL is not yet supported and I don't know whether it ever will. From my point of view it is an overkill for this kind of applications.

It shouldn't be too dificult to read the information from the pure xml output.

http://ws.geonames.org/countryInfo?

XML is fine for me.

Is it possible to define the parameter contained within the xml file? I am interested in additional parameter like iso alpha3, iso numeric, ...
These parameters are presented within the http://ws.geonames.org/countryInfoCSV? service but not the http://ws.geonames.org/countryInfo?

Hi Bakito

I have added isoNumeric, isoAlpha3 and fipsCode. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Hi marc

I have one oher question.

Is there a reason why the list fetched form the http://ws.geonames.org/countryInfo? service contains 231 countries and the list from the http://ws.geonames.org/countryInfoCSV? service contains 243 countries?

Can you explain the difference?

Hi bakito

The reason is we don't have bounding box information for the other countries. The xml service was a pure bounding box service in the beginning, and the other info (codes ...) was added later.
