geodb have wrong data about administrative divisions of Greece.

There are 13 peripheries (nine on the mainland and four island groups), which are further subdivided into 54 prefectures. Traditionally, and also officially until 1987, there were 10 geographical Regions of Greece, which are still sometimes used in popular discourse.

ISO and other codes can be found at http://www.statoids.com/ugr.html

section ISO 3166-2

Thanks. On the page for administrative divisions of Greece the regions were listed. I have replaced them with the ADM1 from the GeoName main database : http://www.geonames.org/search.html?q=adm1+gr&country=GR

The Wikipedia 'Administrative_divisions_of_Greece' page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Administrative_divisions_of_Greece

reports that '..from 1 January 2011, in accordance with the Kallikratis plan (Law 3852/2010), the administrative system of Greece was drastically overhauled. The former system of 13 regions, 54 prefectures and 1033 municipalities and communities was replaced by 7 decentralized administrations, 13 regions and 325 municipalities'.

The Admin1 and Admin2 codes/names for Greece in the GeoNames data still represent the old system. Please can someone put this on their 'todo' list?

Best wishes, Tim.
