Hi,

which ISO-Code is correct? TP or TL? In my local database i've noted TP but in geonames there is TL?
Which is correct?

TP / Ost-Timor / East Timor (geonames iso-code=TL)

Hi Kai

Both codes are correct. TL is the official code in use and TP is a transitionally reserved code. See here on the ISO site :
http://www.iso.ch/iso/en/prods-services/iso3166ma/02iso-3166-code-lists/iso_3166-1_decoding_table.html

I would change your local database to TL since it is the official ISO code.
