Are there any plans to provide open-ocean timezone calculations?

IE - databasing the following URL

TZ Map

Hi

Do you have the information needed for this kind of service in a format we can process? The jpg image is nice to look at but not we cannot process it and use it in a webservice.

As far as I know the TZs mostly follow longitude except when they bump into coastlines and for specific islands.

I've been looking for a lat/lon version of this for a while but no luck. Perhaps its possible to reverse engineer the SVG into lat/lons? Sorry I'm not more help!

this guy has a webservice that does it:

He doesn't explain how, but it appears to work nicely.
