Hi Marc,
I'd like to be able to center a google map over an ADMIN1 region. Is there a data source I could use to find or calculate these center points?
Thanks for all of your fantastic work!

Hi
Why don't you use the GeoNames lat/lng data for first level administrative divisions? Otherwise you can search for boundary shape files and calculate the centroid, but this is certainly going to be more work.
Cheers
Marc

Thanks Marc,
Just what I need. I should have looked closer at the data before posting.
