GeoNames Forum

A - Is there a source in GeoNames already that identified administrative groupings above the country level (not continental). I'm thinking like the UN designated regions and sub regions of the world. For Example, Botswana is in the Region of Sub-Saharan Africa and its Sub-region is Southern Africa.

B - If this doesn't already exist, can anyone help me get it to be included into the data set? Or maybe creating a separate data set? I would suggest using the UN designations which are quite stable but are not available via an API.
