Hello,

I was surprised to find that the Korean city translation 원주 (Wonju) is nowhere in the alternateNames.txt. There are some other entities (Wonju City Hall, Wonju State, etc.) but not the city proper. Only the English is available. Should I add 원주? Wonju is a major city in Korea.

I checked the data sources list and they seem to be Eurocentric. Is this generally true for Geonames? The coverage for Asian countries seems to be frequently missing population info and translations in the local language. Is there any way to improve these without doing them all manually?
