Hi all,

Recently started using GeoNames data, but struggling with how London is mapped, there seem to be random assignment to areas within London.
Many boroughs and their wards are mapped (they are quite official) and their are towns that make up London as well.

However there seems to be a random application of what is a place and what is a section of a place.

Balham is a place, PPL, Battersea is just a PPLX, even though it is bigger and both are in the borough of Wandsworth (if that matters).

Any thoughts on how to best address?

2656580 Balham
6690602 Battersea
