During the 2021 Administrative territorial reform, the former Aglonas novad was split between the Preiļi Municipality and Krāslava Municipality. Krāslava received the Grāveri, Kastuļina, and Šķeltova parishes and the Preiļi Municipality received the Aglona Parish.
The GeoNames postal data lists them all as being part of the Preiļi Municipality.
