Names on that area should be corrected or need at least some background information.
Area has been territory of Finnish speaking tribes and names until the end of second world war has been finish. I do not mind if nowadays authorities want to change the names but if old names are used it might be mutual interest to spell them correctly and understand the background of the names.
Specific misspelled location “Kiurulakhti” for example
Area has long been populated by Karelian people and spoken language has been Finnish.
Translation to English Kiurlahti means Kiuru = Skylark and Lahti = Bay
Easten dialects of Finnish language often leave away the last vowel of the word so old maps use the names Kiurlaks or Kiurlax. Laksi is the old form for lahti which means bay. So newer maps use the name “Kiurlahti”
If someone wants help with this matter I try my best
