Brazil has now 5.570 municipalities according to IBGE. They are:

State: Santa Catarina (SC) (http://www.ibge.gov.br/estadosat/perfil.php?sigla=sc) 295 municipalities now
New municipalities
Pescaria Brava (Geonames ID = 3454048, IBGE municpality code = 4212650)
Balneário Rincão (Geonames ID = could not find, IBGE municpality code = 4220000)

State: Pará (PA) (http://www.ibge.gov.br/estadosat/perfil.php?sigla=pa) 144 municipalities now
New municipality
Mojuí dos Campos (Geonames ID = could not find, IBGE municpality code = 1504752)

State: Rio Grande do Sul (RS) (http://www.ibge.gov.br/estadosat/perfil.php?sigla=rs) 497 municipalities now
New municipality
Pinto Bandeira (Geonames ID = 3453700, IBGE municpality code = 431454

State: Mato Grosso do Sul (MS) (http://www.ibge.gov.br/estadosat/perfil.php?sigla=ms) 79 municipalities now
New municipality
Paraíso das Águas (Geonames ID = could not find, IBGE municpality code = 5006275)

Could you please adjust Geonames database?

thanks for the reminder, I forgot about this thread.
The five new municipalities are now inserted and the admincodes of the associated features updated.
