Hi there,

I would like to add the Russian Federal Districts to the database (I have searched and have not found them under ADMx or ADMD).

I plan to add them as ADMD, with the centre of the Federal Districts on their main town (e.g. Moscow for Central Federal District).

Can you give me permissions to do so, assuming this approach is OK?

Hi Tom

Yes, the federal districts are not yet included. You can add them as ADMD. For the relation between the districts and the ADM1 we can include this in the geoname_hierarchy. If you can provide a list with the geonameid of the ADM1 and the geonameId of their district then I can load it into the geoname_hierarchy table.
