Hi everyone,
I had a query in the postal code search where I came across this place: "Ikanikeisaiganaibaai"

This place has at least 200 postal codes but no value when using geonames-search and no wikipedia article or any existence of the place besides some addresses in a quick google search.

Is this an error or it is done on purpose to assign a placeholder value to pincode ending in '00'?

looks like the romanization of 以下に掲載がない場合
which means 'if not listed below'.

Maybe we should the adm3 name instead, where available.

Hi Marc,

That would be perfect.
In addition to using admin name 3, where available; we can use admin name 2 instead if available; else admin name 1 instead. Just to cover most of "Ikanikeisaiganaibaai" place names.

Would this seem better?
