Hello,

We've been using the secure.geonames.org API in Salesforce since 2018 but since last week we're getting a "Handshake failure" error.

If we do the HTTPS request from Postman, it works. But if we do the HTTPS request from Apex (Salesforce), we get this handshake failure.

Does anyone know why?

Hi jmanuel.castillo,

I do have the same problem and wrote what I found out here:

In my case, it seems to be a Problem with the ciphers, that are not supported in the current Windows environment. I hope Geonames loosens the restrictions on that endpoint.
