Hello,
When using the free version of the geonames postcode api - secure.geonames.net - we were getting back full postcodes for the town searched.
Now using the paid for version - secure.geonames.org -we are only getting the first half for any given town.
This is not only happening in the UK but it is where we are most affected.
Is anyone else having this issue or have it resolved?

Hi Craig

you can add the parameter isReduced=false to get the same behaviour on the premium api:

https://secure.geonames.net/postalCodeSearchJSON?countryCode=GB&postalcode=&maxRows=100&username=ami_prod_pc&placename=edinburgh&isReduced=false

background: initially we did not have the full dataset for the UK. For the premium api we do need to be more conservative and could not just activate it to not blow up existing production code.
