hello everyone, I'm trying to edit the population data for a lot of argentinian settlements. I have my sources but for some reason many cities are locked. Buenos Aires is listed as having 13M people even though the actual population of the city is a little over 2,9 million, and it STILL won't let me change it! it's locked and with inaccurate information. Mar del Plata too for example, it's missing around 40k people.

I'm currently facing the same issue as LibTed does. Lot of incorrect pieces of information on Spain country (populated places not declared on the correct adm3).
I was able to update lot of the places, but some require to have a upper user level, and I'm only level 1.

I list here the incorrect locations. Weird -but not really important- thing is also that I face 2 different error message for the same root cause.

Would it be possible to increase my user level, or at least to update the invalid data?

to add to all that, Patos, Albania has extremely bad info, with a population of 60000 (even higher than the main city of Fier). I wanted to edit it with more accurate information but the mods apparently locked it. with all due respect to the mods, what's the point of locking a place that very obviously has fake information

I am updating admin codes here and there (username willem_syt) but sometimes the changes do not get through, even though I get a confirmation message. Example: updating the admin1 level of "Zadar City Harbor" in Croatia.
Is there a reason for this, and can this be shown in the GUI?

Hi,
On November 1st I moved the location of "Poros, Kefalonia Port" (9855421) to its correct location in Greece (it was located in Barcelona).
However, if I try to set the correct country etc. (Greece, Ionian Islands) I get a message in red saying "no changes".
Can you check please?

There was indeed an issue with the service saying 'no changed' even when it was changed.

I'm updating some settlements in Ireland with population data from the 2022 census. However, some settlements (ones I've encountered so far are Castleblayney, Carrickmacross, Threemilehouse, Oram, Glaslough and Inniskeen). My username is computerfan0 by the way, although I feel that decreasing the lock level (especially considering that some of the above have less than 200 residents) would be a more sensible option.

you are right the algorithm to increase the locklevel to avoid edit 'wars' is too eager.
This will be changed and we will also undo the increase in the past which has happened automatically.

I'd also like to add New York County as ADM2 to Lower Manhatten like other PPLX features in the area, but I get the error message: "the name is locked and may only be updated by users with a user level >= 2. Your current user level is 1".
