Hi guys,

As you can see, Ceuta and Melilla has ADM1 "Autonome Comunity" level and ADM2 "Province" level too:

ADM1:
http://www.ine.es/daco/daco42/codmun/cod_ccaa.htm
...
...
18 Ceuta
19 Melilla

ADM2:
http://www.ine.es/daco/daco42/codmun/cod_provincia.htm
...
...
51 Ceuta
52 Melilla

But in geonames it's is not reflected. Only ADM1 and ADM3 are set.

http://www.ine.es, clasifies Ceuta and Melilla as Provice level too, this is need too in geonames for best manage and avoid headaches.

the problem is that not all official sources consider them to be provinces:

http://ssweb.mpt.es/REL/frontend/inicio/provincias/all/25/

However, you are right. It is probably easier to use an ADM2. I have created it.

Best Regards

Yep Marc,
You're right seems some mismatches on official sources.
In any case, I think the INE is focused on the primary stadistics for Spain: Demography and population, Consumer Price Index, etc...
In Postal Codes too are clasified as provinces

Thanks for create they!!
