Please can you tell me what is the correct country code ? is that nn or nb ?

(seen here http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/iso-languagecodes.txt )

Thanks you very much

Hello Guillaume,

Casually looking at a bunch of Norsk placenames and the only ISO code I see is the ISO-1 'no' - and I'm not seeing it on any villages, only on farms.

What is 'Paris' in Norwegian?

There are some elements in Norwegian:
"countryName": "Frankrike",
"fcodeName": "Hovedstad",

Cheers

Well in the case of Paris, the Norwegian (no) and Nynorsk (nn) translations are both entered in Geonames as "Paris". I assume that's not correct, but your query will only return the string value as stored in Geonames.
Hopefully I'm understanding your question - if not, what would you expect the query to return in the case of Paris?
