Hi,
one of our programmers was busy trying to process some of the Geonames data and came across a problem processing names with a single 'double quote' (") in it (f.e. here [https://www.geonames.org/search.html?q=Haute+Ecole+%22+Groupe+Ichec&country=])
Apparently, if the name contains 2 'double quotes', the code can process the data without any problem.
Question: Could it be that the represented name should not have that double quote in it and so the data should be cleaned up of all such occurrences? Or should there be a second double qoute in the name? Or do we, in our own code, have to take into account that such data can occur?

Hi Pascal - I agree that the one dbl-quote is a problem. The editor won't even render it in the name, which is telling. I looked at the other "Haute Ecole" entries in Belgium and saw some with a pair of dbl quotes, and so changed those two from the search string you posted to match that format.
The query that generated errors should run fine now!
