In alternateNamesV2.txt I count 20,371 alternate names in the "iata" category. However, when I join these with the base table on geonameid (field 2 in alternateNamesV2.txt) only 7,082 rows join, leaving 13,289 iata alternate names that are joining. Does anyone know why this is happening?
