Sorry if this has been answered before but if it has, I can't find it

I've decided to do some work on the missing Scottish Gaelic place names in Scotland and I'm struggling to get the map to display in a specific locale - in my case, Scottish Gaelic. Mostly I do this by browsing the map and identifying key missing names but I keep running into the problem that while some names are displayed in Gaelic in the map, others aren't but when I pull up the data window, the Gaelic names are there.

For example, Arbroath (2657215) is displayed in English on the map but when I pull up the data, it has a field for gd with Obar Bhrothaig next to it (which is correct).

My browser and even OS are in Scottish Gaelic - which is presumably why *parts* of the map display in Gaelic.

I've looked in the settings but can't find a way of manually specifying a preferred locale.

Any suggestions on how to get it to reliable display the gd data where the gd data exists?

Thanks!
