Hello,

I have downloaded US postal code data from http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/

I am using spring batch to dump this data into my database. While processing this tab delimited US.txt file, there are few records as below which dont have consistent format just like other records and hence I am getting placeName = APO AA . And there is no state code provided for below data. But seems like AA is a state code but I am getting "APO AA" together in a column placeName.

US 09001 APO AA 38.1105 15.6613
US 09007 APO AE 49.4077 8.6908
US 09008 APO AE 50.1155 8.6842
US 09009 APO AE 49.4333 7.6
US 09012 APO AE 49.4333 7.6
US 09014 APO AE 49.4077 8.6908
US 09021 APO AE 49.4292 7.6969
US 09025 APO AE 49.1113 9.7391
US 09026 APO AE 50.3776 9.9109
US 09028 APO AE 49.5431 8.4497
US 09031 APO AE 49.7397 10.1507
US 09033 APO AE 50.0494 10.2217
US 09034 APO AE 49.6174 7.3338
US 09036 APO AE 49.7939 9.9512

The format is as intented.
APO stands for Army Post Office. The 'state designator' is not a state code as we know it therefore it does not stand in the admincode1 field.

Best Regards

Marc
