When we look in your database we see for example 'Cologne' listed as the German name 'Koln', and 'Limerick' listed as the Gaelic name 'Luimneach'. Does anyone know how we see only the English versions of city names? Or does anyone have a list of all the city names that aren't listed as their English name so we could manually change it on our end?

In our website people from around the world can look through specific cities. But many people will only know the English name when looking for a city so having for example Limerick listed as the Gaelic name won't work as they will have no idea that it has another name.

Any ideas get around this problem?

I am looking for the same thing, tiger154. Were you able to resolve this or find an alternate source?

Please checkout the alternatenames file. It contains translations in many languages including English.
