Divisions of UK  XML

Hi:
I have several doubts about administrative divisions of United Kingdom.
* first division:
England
Northern Ireland
Wales
Scotland

* second division ???
For example, for ENGLAND, in wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regions_of_England#List_of_regions, appear REGIONS:
1. East Midlands
2. East of England
3. Greater London
4. North East England
5. North West England
6. South East England
7. South West England
8. West Midlands
9. Yorkshire and the Humber

but these regions don't appear in geonames ADMIN2


Is there in this foro, some post explaining this matter?

Hi Isa

The Government Office Regions are not included in the hierarchy as the are hardly ever used and they don't add any value to the hierarchy of the UK.
