We are looking for a way to pass lat/lng and always get back:
1) adminCode1
2) adminName1
3) adminCode2
4) adminName2
5) countryCode

So far in our testing, looks like "findNearestAddress" only contains US data but always returns all 5.

After playing with "findNearbyPostalCodes" looks like we get similar results in the US but haven't tested enough to know for sure.

Will "findNearbyPostalCodes" work the same as "findNearestAddress" in the US? Will the data look different? Is one better than the other?

Will "findNearbyPostalCodes" return all 5 internationally?

Thanks!

The findNearestAddress service is only available for the US.
The findNearbyPostalCodes is available for around 50 countries. The level of attributes filled may vary from country to country.

Can they be used interchangeably in the US for retrieving:
1) adminCode1
2) adminName1
3) adminCode2
4) adminName2
5) countryCode

Thanks Marc!

If you are not interested in the street name then it is probably better to use the findNearbyPostalCode service. The latter is using polygons and also returns an answer where no streets are available (parks etc).
