Hi,

District of Columbia (GeoNamesId 4138106) is filed as a first-order administrative division. Isn't this wrong? District of Columbia is not an official U.S. state.

if it not a first order administrative division, what else should it be? I think this correct.

Sorry, yes, you are correct.

By the way, I have set 'District of Columbia' as the preferred name (it is the official name) and I added 'Washington, D.C.' as a short-name.
